Security-Widefield is a census-designated place in El Paso County, Colorado, United States. According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 14.1 square miles, of which 13.6 square miles is land and 0.50 square miles, or 3.43%, is water.

As of the census of 2000, there were 29,845 people, 9,960 households, and 8,187 families residing in the CDP. There were 9,960 households out of which 43.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 66.5% were married couples living together, 11.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 17.8% were non-families. 14.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 5.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.99 and the average family size was 3.28. The median income for a household in the CDP was $48,911, and the median income for a family was $51,029. Males had a median income of $32,353 versus $24,684 for females. The per capita income for the CDP was $17,697.
